Dr Mark Mellor

Dr Mark Mellor is an experienced medical doctor and general practitioner with over 15 years of UK and Australia clinical practice. Mark has a special interest in obesity and metabolic health and leads the RACGP obesity special interest group in Western Australia. He founded Perth Weight Clinic in 2022 after gaining SCOPE-certification and completing the Horizons obesity mentorship program. 

Mark brings evidence-based treatment to people living with obesity and related conditions to support long-term health. He is a speaker at primary care education events and has collaborated with local government and pharmaceutical organisations to help steer obesity care in the right direction. 

Outside of his special interest role, Mark also provides the full spectrum of general practice services to the local community in WA.
